Hope is a feeling of expectations and desire for a particular thing to happen-my phone dictionary remind me, but the most astonishing thing about hope is, when would that thing expected happens, how would it happens- would it happen exactly how expected or desired, how long would someone have to keep his/her hope strong or how long would one have to discarded that this particular thing would not happen again. This interrogatives situation surroundings hope succumbs to failure if ones deviate from hope, hope should be an endless though one sees impossibilities. Its refill one with the positive energy that would out weight all the obstacles towards successes, its only take a hope for the people of South Sudan to fight for 21 years, there was no reference power for South Sudanese to encounter well equipped Sudanese government but with a deep hope, they stood out in fire and gain their independence.
I believe our common hope as South Sudanese is the improvement in economics situations so that the dollar rate in a black market reduced, so that a single mother outside there fighting for her children feedings, school fees and other needs get a space to breath, a hope for good government that will recognize the services of civil servants and rewards them with what is due to them_ our common hope that ever south Sudanese is free to move around the country without insecurity and nevertheless a hope that we as South Sudanese are all entitled to the benefits this beautiful country renders. But I’m somewhat puzzle, what is the hope of our stakeholders? Does everyone holding a public office go to his/her office with clear planned ideas that would impact his/her own people, sometimes, I view from our stakeholders’ angle as a western ideology and not applicable in our society.
We are all hopers and dreamers, but the only different is that we keep our hopes not for common but for individual, not for public interest but for one interest, thereby once the things hoped for are achieved the does not benefits all. we hope for the best for this country but only if and only if we change our prospective on how we lead ourselves, change our greediness and embrace brotherhood, change our sectionalism and embrace inclusiveness (all-ism). Lastly our hope is unending, we are experienced hopers but let make our hope True in this coming season of elections that is the only chance to save our hope others if we fail then we have to use other methods to restore the changes we hope for in our society.
