“The money we have mobilized will be sent to Sudan to transport vulnerable families trapped in Sudan” he said.

Chap Chany said there is someone to coordinate and facilitate the return of the families in extreme vulnerability, to return back to Unity State.

An amount of SSP 6,153,500 was mobilized in a fundraising drive held in Bentiu IDPs camp.

Mr. Nhial Kam Both, Chairperson for HIV/AIDs Commission in Unity State called for Peace and unity among the IDPs.

“I encourage you to remain united in peace and unity,” Both said.

Both also urged IDPs to stare away from divisions along political party affiliations.

Last week Jikany community association in Bentiu IDP camp organized fundraising to provide food items and other necessities to returnees who have arrived in Bentiu IDP camp.
