President Salva Kiir Mayardit in Monday Decree fired the Minister of Presidential Affairs, Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro from office.
In another Decree, the president appointed Amb. Chol Mawut Unguec to replace Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro as Minister of Presidential Affairs.
Joseph Bangasi Bakosoro re-join the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) in 2021 after quitting South Sudan National Movement for Change (SSNMC) party, he formed.
Before securing the post of Minister of Presidential Affairs, Bakosoro served as the national minister for Public Service after he was relieved as the governor of Western Equatoria state.
The President also issued another decree, appointing some members to the National Legislative Assembly.
