The project aimed at promoting technological advancement across the state, comprise an ICT and digital library, a printing press, a news magazine, billboard regulations, and outdoor advertisement in Juba.

According to the Acting minister, the memo was returned to the ministry to be incorporated into a bill before tabling for further deliberations in the next Council meeting.

“The four projects for the Ministry of Information and Communication were returned for incorporation into a bill, and after that, it will be brought back to the Council of Ministers,” said Francis, adding that “these memos are very important and they need to be critically refined so as to avoid any inconveniences in the future.”

According to the official, the four projects if successfully established – would serve in information dissemination and archiving.
