Chief Administrator dissolves GPAA government

Peter Guzulu Maze, Chief Administrator of the Greater Pibor Administrative Area (GPAA), has dissolved nearly the entire government inherited from his predecessor, in an order that took effect last Thursday.

In an interview with this publication on Sunday, Peter Ajany Kaimoi, GPAA Local Government Minister, stated that only those appointed alongside him when the new chief administrator assumed duties earlier this year were spared from the dissolution.

“New appointments will begin on Monday,” Kaimoi announced. “Our chief administrator is currently conducting consultations, and starting Monday, he may commence the process of forming a new government.”
