When will South Sudan be totally free?

Yesterday was a war crisis, today is health crisis and tomorrow maybe something else, what a country! This is not the first time in the world history for a country to become independent, many countries became independent but their struggles to get settled did not go this far. South Sudan’s struggle to stand on her own feet is incomparable in contrast to other countries that underwent adolescent changes like her.

No developed country can deny that she did not undergo such changes, but such changes differ from country to country depending on the mother country and the colonists. The longtime South Sudan illness has an etiology in the history but does not want to be diagnosed and treated, not because doctors fail to diagnose and treat it but because once treated, the business will slacken and collapse. No need of beating around the bush, let me say the truth, once treated, all the channels of corruption and nepotism will become blocked, and so soon will justice and accountability prevail so that ill-gotten resources are vomited.

The founding father of the Republic of South Sudan was too intelligent but failed to foresee the entailment of his decision. For those who may get lost in this statement, check the history for satisfaction.  It was decided as if a punishment to Joshua who furthered South Sudan to the bathroom. This recurrent illness has its cure in the United States of America but policies of bringing that cure are harder to devise. They are harder in the sense that the cure is expiring but that does not worry much as the manufacturer is alive still. The cure giver is somehow arrogant at the moment but as soon as Coronavirus gets over, a new cure giver may be brought to power with his or her interests and policies.

What is it that South Sudan needs to do before it brings the cure? South Sudan needs to tell the United States to wean her arrogant babies and give them to her grandmother to care for them in exchange for a favor that she will replace China. These babies win the United States’ hearts by promising her to take oil companies if she supports their struggle for power, if that is the case, then she can be promised to disown them and be given oil companies for stability’s sake. The elder baby is troublesome and has lost its value, but the younger ones are gaining power and value and will soon create mayhem.

To make them regret for the rest of their lives, South Sudan needs to befriend the United States and give her all assignments given to China. Which country’s investment has a nickname? China is investing in South Sudan and so does the United States, but USA’s investment has an advantage. The U.S language of instructions is English, and it is understood by many South Sudanese unlike China that writes all information in the Chinese language. The U.S also educates her employees so that they may further themselves in case things go wrong as nothing lasts forever.

By doing so, South Sudan will stand on her own feet and get stable and begin to enliven the economy and healthcare systems in preparation for the unknowns. Countries loyal to U.S have less corruption and rebellion which are the engineers of South Sudan stunt. If I may ask, is this peace complete? To me, it is not complete as other factions are being formed and others not included in the peace process. South Sudan will not totally be free from hardships and backwardness because of her youngness and her leader’s excessive greed for power.

While South Sudanese were about to celebrate peace and implement it, there emerged Coronavirus that makes everything standstill. Happy are those who can remember the month in which the Revitalized Transitional Government of National Unity was formed, political differences were beginning to diminish as politicians intermingle in search for government positions. Embracement and love lost during the past political disagreements was beginning to revive but delayed by the merciless Coronavirus as other peace-bringing processes are not yet completed.

I’m related to many politicians; I know what it means when two politicians or so leave their differences unsolved and begin to smile and embrace each other with open arms. Stories are my witnesses. Politicians are the funniest people on earth. They are like boys. Two politicians can be reconciled today and promise in the very presence of the reconcilers not to continue with ill intentions against each other, but in two to three days, you see them disagreeing.

Others swear by God not to hate each other but forget in hours, I wish God was still nearer to punish them accordingly. When the histories and significances of peace agreements signed are to be taken into account, then South Sudan is going to remain war-free for a while if not for other unsolicited parties. South Sudanese have suffered a great deal and that, they need to see South Sudan free from anything detrimental to her progress.
