President Kiir reshuffles

President Salva Kiir has issued a Republican Decree relieving Major General Simon Majur from his position as Director General in the Directorate of Passport, Immigration, and Nationality.

Major General Elia Costa Faustino has been appointed as the new Director General.

In another Decree, Yeni Samuel Costa has been relieved of his duties as the First Deputy Governor of the Central Bank, and Adis Ababa Otto has been appointed to replace him.

The head of the state also relieved Cosmas Pitia Kujjo from his role as Undersecretary in the Ministry of Mining, appointing Dr. Santino Matiop as the new Undersecretary.

Furthermore, Kiir appointed Yuol Justin Yach as the Chairperson of the South Sudan Human Rights Commission, with Ezikia Alfandi Gibson serving as Deputy Chairperson.

The Decrees were read in the state-owned South Sudan Broadcasting Cooperation last evening.
