CES youth in Egypt for conference

At least three youth from Central Equatoria State have left for Egypt to participate in a seven-day youth conference in Cairo. About fifty youth, three from each state plus others South Sudan National Youth Union left Juba for Egypt to participate in the conference to be launched tomorrow Saturday. The conference aimed at youth capacity building and participation in decision making process in their respective states.

Addressing Journalists today in Juba before leaving for Cairo, Rufas Juka Samuel Central Equatoria State Youth Union steering committee Chairperson said the conference was organized by the national youth union of the Arab Republic of Egypt through the Ministry of Youth and Sports. “We are so happy that the Central Equatoria is fully represented in this conference,” he said. He said the topic to be discussed in the conference include the participation of youth in nation building and the establishment of good cooperation between South Sudanese youth and their Egyptian counterparts.

“We are very happy that Central Equatoria State will be joined together with other youth from the rest of states and our colleagues from various states of Arab Republic of Egypt,” Juka stressed. He hailed the government of Central Equatoria State for the logistical support it has rendered to them.
