Authorities in Mundri West county of Western Equatoria State applauded the President of the Republic of South Sudan His Excellency Salva Kiir Mayardit for the brilliant thought to open Juba-Yambio highway that will vision out the development and service delivering to the communities and it will improve security along the Juba and Mundri road.
Addressing the gathering during the official launching of highway construction on Wednesday in Mandiba territory of Mundri West with Mundri East County, the county commissioner of Mundri West Zilipher Dawa Justin told No.1 Citizen Daily Newspaper that the community of her county is ready to cooperate with contractors as the high way comes along with its development, Zilipher Dawa said.
Meanwhile Save the Nation Engineer Daite Mathew said some compensation will be done to those whose houses were affected.
According to Engineer Mathew, the project will take 5-6 years because it has different faces.
However the Mandiba representatives Julius Kamari welcomed the initiative by the national Government to open the road through the territory of his Boma peacefully “As we sacrifice the blood of this goat that shows we are happy with the President of Republic of South Sudan and contractors that nothing will happen bad to the team of construction and blood of goat goes to all ancestors of this land as blessing,” Julius Kamari said.
Juba –Yambio highway road construction started since last year 2021.
