The Parents whom their children are studying at Daa Dokolow Primary School in Mvolo County of Western Equatoria State are appealing for provision of clean water at the School premises

Daa Dokolou Primary School was established in 2011 with 5 classes from P1 to P5 and has been operating under the tree.

Last month, a Community based organization Rural Development Action Aid (RDAA) launched the construction of Daa Dololow Primary school which is expected to complete in four months.

Speaking to No.1 Citizen Daily Newspaper, the parents said they are happy to see the construction of the school but still lacking some services like Water and fence for the school.

Charity Woko who is a mother of the children learning in Daa Dokolow said they need to see clean water for the pupils in the school.

“Now as they build the school for us here, that will help us a lot because our children will not be very far, and the rain will also not affect their learning, and our children will be in constructed classroom, we need clean water within the school compound not to go and fetch Water from far and if their teachers teach them well we shall also support them with the little we may have at hand,” the parent said.

Another parent Paul Bari said he is happy to see the construction which is going on in Daa Dokolow primary school but there is need for food and fence around the school to prevent school children from going out.

“My brother I want to thank RDAA for the work they are doing for us, because before our children were studying in difficult conditions like rain, Clean water even no food,” Paul Bari said adding “We also need help as other communities are being helped, we need Water, food and fence for our school children” Paul concluded.
