Official urges SPLM members to maintain discipline

The SPLM acting secretary General, Peter Lam Both has called on the members of the ruling party to observe discipline for peaceful resolution of any differences.
“The Party matters should be resolved through peaceful dialogue within the Party,” Lam stated.
Mr. Lam was speaking in Aweil town in a public event attended by the leaders and members of the SPLM party.

Lam was accompanied by senior SPLM leaders including Daniel Awet Akot, a senior member of the SPLM Political Bureau and others in a mission to restructure the SPLM party in the states and the administrative areas.

Mr. Lam expressed the SPLM party’s readiness to deliver basic services in the country.
For his part, the state Interim chairman of the SPLM party who doubles as the Governor of Northern Bahr el Ghazal state Tong Akeen Ngor appreciated the SPLM Secretariat for implementing the Revitalized Peace Agreement.
Governor Tong also described the recruitment of more than what he disclosed as 700 members of other Political Parties into SPLM as an achievement.
Governor Tong also called on the SPLM members and general public to support President Salva Kiir in the implementation of the Revitalized Peace Agreement in order to bring everlasting peace in the Country.
