Unity State ‘Coordinator Hon. Gorden Mawiclou Chilieny has this Wednesday handed over seven motor cycles and some cash in form of Dollar to disabled persons in the State Coordination Office-Juba, as a GIFT from Governor Lt Gen. Dr. Joseph Manytuil Wejang to empower people with disabilities and to be self-reliance.

The solidarity gift comes as a result of promised pledges year ago after group of people with disabilities residing in Juba IDPs camp written a letter to Governor Manytuil requesting mobility facilitation and financial support to create their own micro-Business and employment.

Governor Hon. Dr Joseph Manytuil Wejang has been categorically rendering his solidarity support to students, women, elderly peoples and people with disabilities, between, 2019 and 2021; he pledged millions of South Sudanese pounds and more than fifty thousand US Dollars to Unity State Students studies in the country and abroad.

Earlier this year, as of part social responsibility to alleviate hunger, Unity Government distributed food and non-food items to IDPs from Unity State staying in Juba and Magateen IDPs camp. And again a couple of weeks ago Governor Manytuil also sent a consignment of food and non-food items to Flood displaced persons of Unity State camping in Yirol East County of Lakes State.
