SSFA investment committee meets to validate business plans

The Investment Committee of South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) yesterday held a meeting to validate the Association’s businesses and investment plans.

Recently, South Sudan Football Association organized a fundraising Initiative meant for supporting South Sudan National Team Bright Stars as a way to prepare them for the upcoming African Cup of Nation’s Qualifiers among others. The fund-raising scheme invited in companies, Organizations and people of good will to extend their support to promote sports activities in the country.

The meeting resolved that the committee will engage more local and international companies to invest in South Sudan football.

The committee appreciated companies which have invested towards promoting South Sudan’s Football Association and extending its special appreciation to Mason Ryhs Company.

Speaking during the meeting, Robert Zecharia, the chairperson for South Sudan Football Association investment team appreciated companies that have supported activities in the country.

“We as the Investment committee for South Sudan football Association thank all the companies who have invested in the Country towards promoting sports activities more particularly South Sudan football Association. With much thanks, the committee appreciate and extends its special thanks to Mason Rys Company for showing interest to support South Sudan National team and to sponsor the production of South Sudan Football Association Sports Magazine’’ he said.

Furthermore, Robert said that the investment committee demonstrated commitment to work towards promoting the national team to a next level through support from well wishers and partners.

“Optimism is our mandate towards promoting the national team to a better level. We can move the National team with a support from our partners and well wishers who have the will for the Country’s sports activities to move to the next level. We urge the citizens to consider the Country’s football team as a priority by extending their support for better progress’’ he said.

He added that it is through sports that the country will have peace and build relationship with other countries.

“It is through sports that we will bring peace to the Country. Through football, we will be able to create bilateral relationship with other Countries. Therefore, as citizens of South Sudan, we should promote football whether being our national female team or male ones’’ he said.
