The First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny has called on the people of South Sudan to make marriage easy for the young people.

This came during the wedding ceremony of the Minister of Petroleum Puot Kang Chuol on Saturday at the freedom hall.

In his statement during the occasion, the First Vice President directed those who have daughters and to the people of South Sudan at large to make marriage easy for young people.

“Let’s not make marriage expensive because it will affect our society. Marriage is something we cherish all of us and that was why I took it up and said let me and my family be an example. We want to facilitate marriages to our kids and grandchildren so that they can live a better live,” he said.

Dr. Machar called on every South Sudanese to embark on intermarriage because it will strengthen our unity while congratulating the newly wedded couple wishing them a happy home, prosperity and children.
