SSFA plans to establish beach football and hall games

The president of South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) has reiterated his plan to establish beach football program and hall football games as a mechanism to promote sports activities across the Country and unite the citizens through sports.

This development came during a meeting between South Sudan and Sudanese presidents of football Association in Khartoum, the Sudanese capital being the host Country for the U-20 Africa Cup of nation’s qualifiers.

The major aim of the meeting was to ensure that the two Countries conglomerate their efforts to promote sports and games programs through an affirmative memorandum of understanding (MoU).

The meeting discussed bilateral ties in regards to how the two Countries could initiate capacity building to strengthen players of the two Countries with creative football skills and talents to excel globally.

Speaking during the meeting, Mutasem Jaffar the Sudanese president of the football Association appreciated the performance of the U-20 bright stars against his Country and commended the leadership of South Sudan football Association for the tireless efforts they invested in training the upcoming bright stars.

Furthermore, Mutasem appreciated the good relationship between the two Associations adding that Sudan Football Association would always be ready to work hand in hand with South Sudan Football Association to promote and develop football amongst themselves.

On his part, the president of the South Sudan Football Association General Agustino Madout Parek appreciated the Sudan Football Association for the hospitality and underscored that South Sudan and Sudan are one country sharing various initiatives together.

Augustino also requested the Sudanese Football Association to help provide trainings and capacity building in the areas of Administration, Referees and media.

SSFA President revealed that his administration took the initiative of establishing the Beach Football and Hall Football games in order to prepare the Country’s position of meeting international standard of football position.

As part of the meeting, president of South Sudan Football Association General Agustino Madout Parek said that there will be a memorandum of understanding to be signed between the two Associations after identifying the areas of interest.

Augustino underscored that Football is a game of peace, love, unity and harmony that play a fundamental role in resolving number of impediments among citizens of Countries.

He then urged the two Associations to work closely towards creating conducive environment for Sports activities between the two countries.
