Governor Adil directs security organs to swiftly probe criminality

The governor of Central Equatoria State, Emmanuel Adil Anthony has directed all security organs and county commissioners to coordinate and control security threats and criminal activities in the state.

The governor made the directives during the opening session of a two-day expanded security conference at Central Equatoria state secretariat yesterday.

Adil said that the security organs and the County commissioners should be keen in reporting and addressing security matters impeding most Counties in the State.

 “This conference is to enable the state security committee deliberate on the current status of the security situation across Central Equatoria. We need to increase our efforts towards finding amicable solutions to the rising security related matters in the state. I need all the commissioners to collaborate with the security organs to address the insecurity issues for the sake of peace and security in the state,” he stated.

“The security committee must ensure proper coordination with area administrative officers; other security institutions and stakeholders to make sure that all security related crimes are reported, analyzed critically for immediate action,” Adil continued.

The governor also said that the conference would play bigger role in educating the security organs and the commissioners on security ethics that will be applied to resolve prevailing problems affecting the citizens in the state. It also includes mechanisms to be used to orient citizens on reporting incidents that would occur.

He concluded his address by asserting his government’s commitment towards ending the random insecurity in the state and called on the citizens to support the initiative.
