The National Police Spokesperson echoed that the authority arrested forty-four (44) gangs involved in area insecurity saying that one of the police officers was slapped by one female member of the gang.

Speaking to the press on Tuesday, Maj. Gen. Daniel Justine, the national police spokesperson underscored that two boys over the festive season were killed during a fight between members of different gang groups in Hai Kosti and Lologo, in Juba.

He said that they recovered multiple deadly weapons that have been used by the group for attacks and killings during day and night operations.

“We recovered numerous deadly weapons such as the sharp pangas, knives, spears, sticks, nails, harmers that they use for attacking themselves. These weapons are deadly and harmful for human lives,” Maj. Gen. Justine said.

He said that the availability of the niggers has threatened the peace of all the inhabitants living at the circumferences of the above mentioned areas since their target was to kill but not to injure.

“The niggers were involved in some insecurity where each group could fight themselves. One of the cases at Hai Kosti, one boy was killed. The same case in Lologo they fought themselves and one boy was murdered. Yesterday another group prepared to wage revenge but we were informed timely and arrested the situation,” he said.

Justine added that the gang groups after seeing the authority became aggressive and declared war against them thus slapping and injuring two officers of the law.

“We rounded them up but they were very aggressive to the extent that they were about to fight us. Even some of them actually fought the police and one of our officers was wounded and the other officer was slapped by a lady then we managed to arrest 44 in total. 42 were from a group called wrong gang apprehended in a fighting operation against soldier boys,” Justine said.

He said that investigation for the wrong crooks has already commenced and soon the case would be referred to the court for legal trial.

However, Justine also underscored the situation in Juba has become so dangerous through these aggressive boys and urged parents to play their roles towards consoling their children against such acts.

“The situation is really very dangerous so we are really appealing to parents to play their role in regards to this matter. Some families actually don’t know what their children are doing thus they need to monitor them closely,” he said.
