Governor calls for discipline in military

Central Equatoria State Governor, Emmanuel Adil Anthony has urged the presidential guards-the Tiger Division forces-to uphold to the professionalism and maintain military discipline in the country.

He said discipline and professionalism were paramount for the army to discharge its mandate to defend the territorial integrity of the Country and other related assignments in the various gov’t institutions.

The Governor made the appeal on Thursday while interacting with the Senior Tiger Division commanders and the gallant forces.

“Tiger division forces should espouse to the professionalism and maintain military discipline and defends the territorial integrity of the country,” Adil was quoted by his mouthpiece.

He also emphasized the need for the forces to reinforce Juba City Council efforts on discouraging rampant littering in the city.

The governor noted that it is a collective responsibility of various government institutions to keep Juba city clean, green and safe.

The State’s top authority donated five bulls to the forces as part of his thanksgiving for the tremendous job that they render to the nation, despite global financial constraints.
