Training and graduation of the phase II will make a total of 83,000 forces as per the revitalized peace deal.

A week ago, President Kiir said the long-awaited deployment of Necessary Unified Forces will be sooner than later.

However, the deployment of the graduated personnel has been delayed as the government continues grappling over lack of arms to equip the officers due imposed 2018 arms embargo.
