President Kiir knifes SPLM lawmaker

President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Wednesday revoked appointment of Transitional National Legislative Assembly member of parliament and appoints a replacement, immediately.

In a presidential decree, Hon. Tereza Awein Mijak ceased to represent the ruling, Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) party in the Transitional National Legislative Assembly.

The president also on the very day issued a decree, appointing Adwal Bol Agai, as a member of the Transitional National Legislative Assembly, representing the SPLM party.

Meanwhile, the head of the state in a separate decree, also appointed members to constitute Ruweng Administrative Area Legislative Assembly.
