Missing man found dead

A 53-year-old man who had gone missing for about four days at Malek-alel in Aweil South County in Northern Bahr El Ghazal State (NBGs) has been found dead.

The deceased man was found in the bush on the outskirts of Malek-Alel town, which is the Aweil South County headquarters.

NBGs Police spokesperson, Captain Guot Guot Akol, told the media on Wednesday that the deceased is identified as Aduol Ajith Aduol and was found by his family members, who have been seriously searching for him.

Mr. Guot said that the late man’s body was found without a head, limbs, or arms.

“He was found, and his body was worth decomposing. He fell at the extreme end of his farm, which is still grassy at the moment,” Captain Guot narrated.

Guot stated that the sources whom they investigated reported that the deceased might have been under the influence of alcohol when he lost his way.

The state has been witnessing a rise in cases of mysterious deaths.
