Central Equatoria state governor has sacked Juba city Acting Mayor, Emmanuel Khamis Richard, from office.
Emmanuel Adil Anthony, on Friday, issued a gubernatorial decree for the revocation of the assignment of Emmanuel Khamis Richard as the commissioner of Lainya County as well as caretaker mayor of Juba city council.
The gubernatorial decree came into force with immediate effect.
Governor Adil also directed the Chief Executive Officer of Juba City Council, Can. Martin Simon Wani, to supervise the general activities until a substantive mayor is appointed as soon as possible.
