National Ministry of General Education has aided Yei River County of Central Equatoria state with laboratory equipment to enhance science practicals in government schools.
The equipment was donated to Kinji Senior Secondary School, one of the oldest government schools in the country.
Yei River County commissioner, Aggrey Cyrus Kanyikwa, the county deputy executive director, Ezbon Gale, inspector of secondary education, and other government authorities received the equipment.
Kanyikwa expressed gratitude to the National Education Ministry for providing support to Kinji Senior Secondary School, to motivate the students.
Undersecretary, in the national Ministry of General Education, Kuyok Abol Kuyok said provision of the equipment is an ongoing national effort to strengthen and improve quality of education in the country.
The equipment included science laboratory kits, electronics, soft boards, office chairs, computers, internet cables, firmament, stools, steel cabinets, solar panels, batteries, and investors.
