Adil reshuffles state institutions

Central Equatoria State Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony has issued numerous gubernatorial decrees, effecting swift reshuffling in various government institutions.

The first decree saw Adil relieving several state officials from their posts.

Mr. Peter Wani Emmanuel was relieved as Director General, State Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, and John Mogga Ezekiel as Director General, State Ministry of Local Government and Law Enforcement Agency.

While Mr. Augustino Lo-Wani Duku got removed from being the Director General, State Ministry of Labour, Public Service, and Human Resource Development, Mr. Jamal Hassan Juma resigned as the Director General, State Ministry of Health.

Other relieved officials included Mr. Jimmy Long John as Director General, Ministry of Gender, Child, and Social Welfare; Hon. Francis Luwala Yuda as Executive Director of the State Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation Commission; and Can. Martin Simon Wani as Chief Executive Officer, Juba City Council.

The governor then issued another decree entrusting new officials to those same posts.

He appointed Mr. Francis Luwala Yuda as the Director General, State Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, and Can. Martin Simon Wani as the Director General, State Ministry of Local Government and Law Enforcement Agency.

Meanwhile, Mr. John Mogga Ezekiel was entrusted as the Director General, State Ministry of Labour, Public Service, and Human Resource Development; Dr. James Wani Tom was posted as the Director General, State Ministry of Health; and Atomen Wani Jurkin Lado was named the Director General, State Ministry of Gender, Child, and Social Welfare.

Other appointees included Hon. Peter Wani Emmanuel as the Executive Director of the State Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation Commission and Mr. Augustino Lo-Wani Duku as a Technical Advisor to the State Ministry of Labor, Public Service, and Human Resource Development.

Furthermore, Mr. Jamal Hassan Juma was entrusted as a technical advisor to the State Ministry of Health by Hon. Jacob Achiek Loi as a member of the State Pension Fund Authority.

Hon. Kenyi Dimpa was appointed as the Coordinator for the Establishment of the Electronic System of the Revitalised Transitional Government of Central Equatoria State.

The third gubernatorial decree, meanwhile, was issued for the promotion of a senior administrative officer into the ministry of local government and law enforcement agency.

In that, Governor Adil appointed Mr. Beneth Alex Matti as the Chief Executive Officer of the Juba City Council.

All these gubernatorial decrees, by Wednesday, January 17, 2024, the date of their signature, come into effect.
