Man kills 38 years old brother

A man killed his 38-year-old brother on Thursday, last week in Koch County of Unity State, according to local government official.

Details surrounding the killing are still unclear as the suspect has not yet been apprehended.

Koch County police director, James Tut Wal identified the victim has been identified as Nyuon Kong Wich, and the suspect, Gatloth Kong Wich.

He said that the assailant shot his brother dead in what appears to be a revenge-driven act.

“Currently, the suspect remains at large as he has not been arrested,” Tut said.

A week early the two brothers had involved in a fight, during which the deceased struck his brother with a stick.

Once apprehended, the authorities will conduct a thorough investigation and present the case in court, Tut added.

In a related incident, according to Tut, there had been a previous revenge attack in the area before that of last week.

He said that the suspect responsible for the attack has not also been arrested.

Authorities said after the initial altercation, the suspect decided to return to the scene of the incident and visited his brother’s home on Thursday.

The police are actively working to locate and apprehend the suspect.

Once in custody, the legal process will proceed, and the court will preside for justice to prevail.
