Munuki FC, Malakia FC garb wins in Juba Local League

Both Munuki FC and Malakia FC were winners against Zal Zal FC and Citizens FC respectively in the Mid-week fixtures played at Buluk Training Centre and Munuki Playground on Wednesday evening.

Three goals from Geroge Augustino, Sebit Juma Aree and Apak Williams Nhial were enough to hand the Snakes victory by 3:1 over Zal Zal FC and move half of the table standing in the Juba Local Football Association League.

This is the second win for Munuki FC in a space of seven days after beating Atlabara FC by a goal.

Meanwhile, in another game played in the First Division on Wednesday in Juba, Table leaders Malakia FC strengthened their stay at the Top of the Juba Local Football League by beating Citizens FC 3:2.

A brace from Lebega and a goal from his Teammate in the first quarter of the 45 Minutes were enough to inflict damage on the Citizen FC on Wednesday Evening in a match played in Munuki Playground.

In the second half, Citizen FC came stronger than the opponent scoring two goals however it could not change the score line after the final whistle.

Malakia’s win over Citizen FC came three days after they were beaten by Kator FC 3:1 in the league. With the win over Citizens FC, Malakia FC now has 30 points at the top of the table.

Whereas, the third game of the day between El-Meriekh FC Juba and Al-Hilal FC Juba was postponed without any communication from the organizing committee.

In Yesterday’s fixtures in Buluk Playground at 3 PM CAT, Viva Stars FC played Atlabara FC, Rainbow FC entertained Gudele FC and Al-Rabita FC hosted Amarat FC in Munuki and Jamus Playground respectively. The results would be communicated.
