Yei Joint Stars FC beat Bentiu City SC 7:2 on aggregate on Wednesday to book a slot in the second phase of South Sudan Women’s Cup against Munuki FC (W).

Harriet Dusman was the Queen for Yei Joint Stars as she scored a hat trick against Bentiu City SC and won the award as the best woman of the match.

Halftime ended in favor of Yei Joint Star, with Dusman scoring two goals and her teammate Jessica adding the third goal to ensure they controlled the game.

Some of the other goal scorers in the second half for Yei Joint Stars were Shara Night, Mary Angier, Mirriam, and Dusman with her third goal.

In two appearances for the Yei-based side, Dusman has played two games, and she is now the leading goal scorer of the competition with three goals.

She will be hoping to take on her scoring record against the Munuki FC (W) team when the two teams meet in the Central Equatoria State Debry today in Buluk Training Centre at 3 PM.

The competition is played on home and away bases, and the return league is scheduled for Sunday at the Buluk Training Center at 8 a.m.
