Kiir reshuffles Foreign Affairs docket

President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Thursday made adjustments in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation by shifting the office bearers.

Through Presidential decrees, Ambassador, Dr. James Pitia Morgan was relieved as Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, shifting him to Presidential Envoy to the Great Lakes Region.

In another set of decrees, former deputy minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador, Abdallah Ramathan Abdallah Goc and elevated to full minister in same docket.

Meanwhile, Undersecretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Amb. Monday Semaya Kumba was relieved of his position and lifted to deputy minister in the docket.

Ambassador John Samuel Bwogo takes over as the Undersecretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

On the eventful evening, Ambassador Mayen Wol Dut has been appointed as South Sudan Ambassador to the Peoples Republic of China.
