President Salva Kiir has through decree relieved Emmanuel Adil Anthony as the governor of Central Equatoria State.
The Decree was read at the state-owned South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC TV) on Thursday evening.
In a separate Decree, Former governor of Defunct Jubek State Augustino Jadalla Wani was appointed as the new governor of Central Equatoria State.
In other Decrees, Deputy Governor of Western Equatoria State Dr. Kennedy Ganniko was fired, replacing him with Mr. Elia Richard Box.
No reason was advanced to removal of the two leaders from their respective states.
