President Salva Kiir Mayardit in Monday decree, relieved Unity state governor, Dr. Joseph Nguen Monytuil, from his position and appointed Riek Biem Tap long, in replacement.
In another set of decrees, the President also relieves Chief Administrator of Ruweng Administrative Area, Stefano Wieu de Mialek and replacing him with Tiop de Monyluak as the incoming leader.
During reading of the decrees on State Broadcaster, South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC), no reason was advanced to the reshuffling of the two leaders.
