Following the draw conducted yesterday in Tanzania by the Council of East and Central Africa Football Association (CECAFA) has released the detailed fixtures for the tournament which will kick off from Monday, July 9 to Sunday, July 21st in Tanzania.
The matches will be played in two venues KMC Stadium and Azam Complex and each stadium will host two games a day.
The opening Group A fixtures will be contested between Al-Wadi FC and host JKU FC of Tanazia.
South Sudan National League Champions and representatives to the CECAFA will kick of their quest for the title against Uganda Primer League holder Sports Club Villa FC next week on Tuesday, July 9th at Azam Complex Stadium at 5 CAT.
This is the fourth time Sports Club Villa Uganda is participating in the CECAFA Kagame Cup and they have won it three times while for Al-Merriekh FC Bentiu this is their first appearance in the competition.
Whereas, Kenyan Champion Gor Mahia FC who are considered as one the tournament favourites will host Red Arrows of Zambia on Wednesday at Azam Complex stadium at 9 PM whereas Al Hilal Omdurman FC a guest team from Sudan will play their first game on the same day and venue.
Al-Merriekh FC will return to action Friday on matchday three against APR of Rwanda at 9 PM CAT at Azam Complex Stadium as fellow Group B opponent SC Villa entertains Singida Big Stars FC on the same day however at 5 PM CAT.
The last match for Al-Merriekh FC Bentiu will be between Singida Big Stars FC on Monday, July 15th at Azam Complex stadium at 1 CAT.
The last matches for the group stages will feature Al-Hilal FC and Gor Mahia at KMC Stadium Tuesday, July 16th 2024, whereas earlier over the day Djibouti Telecom will battle it out against Red Arrows FC in the last fixtures of Group B.
The top team from each of the three groups, along with the best runner-up, will progress to the semi-final stage which will kick off Friday, July 19th 2024 all at Azam Complex Stadium.
All the Third-place play off and finals will be played at Azam Complex between 5 PM CAT and 9 CAT on Sunday, July 21st 2024.
