Dr. Morbe explained, “We are really facing a lot of challenges especially the area of electricity whenever we want conduct medical surgery we end up using touches at night and there are some machines like the oxygen machine require a lot of electricity and we have generators but the running cost of the generator is very expensive consuming at least 20 litres per day.”

Commissioner Seme visited the hospital to assess the situation firsthand and identified numerous challenges affecting its operations. He expressed his commitment to work collaboratively with Dr. Morbe to address the challenges.

He pledged to mobilize a team to seek support from potential partners, including the state and national ministries of health. “The county can only provide limited assistance due to inadequate revenue,” he added.

Seme acknowledged the dedication of Dr. Morbe and his team, noting their significant contributions to the community.

The hospital has the capacity to accommodate many patients, including those referred from the neighbouring counties of Lainya and Morobo.
