Juba County Councilors have raised mobility concerns hindering their ability to constituents effectively.
The concerns were raised during the inauguration of the 2024-2025 county legislative council session on Tuesday, officiated by Juba County Commissioner, Emmanuel Tete.
The commissioner tasked the Councilors to prioritize activities of service delivery to the people of Juba County.
The areas of interest include; the advancement of roads network, health facilities, education and infrastructural development within the county, which he said should be done in a very transparent and accountable manner.
Tete urged the councilors to enact policies that can uplift citizens and pave the way for a prosperous future that fosters a conducive environment for collaboration, open dialogue and shared constructive ideology.
However, Council Chairperson, Daniel Jada pointed out the pressing issue of inadequate transport hindering members from attending legislative processes routinely.
Jada appealed for the provision of transportation or any mobility means for the councilors to enable them to carry out duties unhindered.
