At least forty-three (43) primary eight candidates who missed Certificate of Primary Education [CPE] examination papers on Monday have been given chance to participate in the exercise.
On Monday, the learners were reported missing at their designated examination centers due to eruption of communal violence in Tonj North, Warrap State.
Secretary-General of National Examination Council, Simon Nyok Deng told No. 1 Citizen Newspaper that the candidates were located and have joined their colleagues in sitting the examinations.
Over seventy-nine thousand candidates across the country started Certificate of Primary Education [CPE] examination on Monday, sitting for five subjects slated to run up to Friday.
About forty-three thousand candidates are male, wile, thirty-five thousand are female, sitting in five hundred and fifty-one [551] centres across the country.
Vice President for Service Cluster, Hussien Abdel Bagi Akol, who launched and officially rung the bell for kick off of the CPE at Seventh Day Adventist Primary School in Juba, encouraged the learners to demonstrate skills in an honest manner.
He warned that any malpractices or cheating of exams will attract severe consequences that may affect the future and dream of a learner.
