Life doesn’t wait for tomorrow

By Ustaz Mark Bang

Life doesn’t wait for anybody. No amount of money ever bought a second of time. I think this is one of the biggest truths that today’s society of people just never thinks of. They are too busy filling up the needs of their ego.

Life is only once, and those who remember that will live like it. That person whom you fight with today is not sure to be alive tomorrow. Life is so unpredictable, and it waits for no one. Once they are gone, or at one point in life, we will regret the wrong choices we made.

We will think, “Maybe I should have talked to that person more” or “Maybe I should have shown my heart of understanding them,” but then, life waits for nobody. Like I said in the beginning, no amount of money ever bought a second of time. What is lost is lost forever.

There is no second chance in life; once you lose the moment, you have lost it forever, and the ones who lost it already know how it feels. So the best decision is to live your life without ego and enjoy the moment. Hope this gave you another perspective about life. Share little things you have with others, knowing that tomorrow might turn out to be your nightmare. I don’t know why people hate each other for no reason.

When I was young, I asked myself two things: one was whether big people ease themselves or not until I came to know that they do it but not openly. They find a very quiet place to ease themselves. Another question is whether I will grow big or not. Obviously, I too grew big, and as of now, I have kids and a wife. I know more things and still continue to be someone who is any learner learning new things in life like any other human on earth.

Let us put in mind that every opportunity lies in challenges; we believe that life creates great lessons one has to be aware of no matter what the situation might be. I feel naïve when there are those less expected to do good unto us who do great things we later realize to be quite amazing. There are no permanent enemies; those enemies are the reason why we keep on updating our lives every minute. When you want to do better, you must do as your life needs it to be like. Health: Taking care of your physical and mental health is important.
This includes eating healthy, exercising, and practicing self-care. Relationships: Building meaningful relationships with family and friends is important.

Purpose: Having a sense of purpose, or “why,” that drives your actions is important. This can include your work, relationships, and career aspirations.

Learning: Developing your knowledge and skills is important. This includes approaching challenges as a learning opportunity. Peace: Protecting your peace can help you balance your emotions, manage relationships, and achieve inner peace. Passions: Finding your passions and living with a sense of vitality can make everything easier.
Basic needs: Having food, water, air, and shelter to survive is essential. Love and belonging: Feeling welcome and connected to others is important. Something to look forward to: Having something to look forward to can contribute to a happy life.

Being good to other people, even when it doesn’t reap any benefits and even when it costs you. Pay it forward is a brilliant concept. If we all used it, the world would be a good place, not this place. Being good to other people cost me a job that I loved—I refused to fire people who did not deserve to be fired, so my boss, who was a bad person, moved me aside and hired someone who would do it.

I used to feel that I had made a terrible mistake—basically, that I had fucked up my career. Later I realized that I would have to live with the decisions I made until I die and that I had done the right thing. We only have one life. Doing the right thing is something one can live with, even when all else fails. Doing the wrong thing will follow us like a black, haunting angel unto our deathbed and whisper in our ears as we try to finally rest. “Public Staunchest Ally”.
