What exactly happens to an ant separated from the colony?

You must have come across an army of ants, heading somewhere or to someone’s kitchen in their never-ending search for food, with one leader that leads better than some humans, I mean, some leaders.

The colony is made up of ants who decide where to go, and just like humans, there are those who get lost on their way back home, and for these ants, it is the end of their journey.  You know what that means? They are doomed.

The colony doesn’t rest, foraging every day to survive and to store food for the bad weather days. Like these little organisms, the biggest humanitarian crisis of our time is not climate change; it is man’s search for meaning and purpose, because it doesn’t bring us the happiness we need in the end. Instead, we find ourselves lost and frustrated, sometimes lonely in our search for a life that doesn’t exist.

The best example is the lion. All animals in the wild think lions are happy because they are strong and on top of the food chain, but deep down, the lions know they are not. You cannot ever dream of becoming a lion if you are a bush rat, because it will be a waste of time. If you can’t be something, fall in love with what you are, the good and the bad. And if you have time, use it to be happy. Don’t be busy wanting to be what you are not. If your life is really bad, I mean if it really sucks, maybe you should know that it is not the end of the road.

You have a second chance at life and if it doesn’t work, (I know it will or it will not depending on God’s mood) you should appreciate the fact that this life was freely handed to you and nothing is ever a lost because you will be gone one day and the world will never be a different place, just a kind reminder.

The lion is the strongest animal God has ever created, but he is not always happy because he feels like he is nothing. Don’t postpone happiness when it feels like you are not doing enough. When a lion is satisfied, he looks for an animal to kill, just for fun, to make him happy. He finds joy in the suffering of other animals. The world is too big for one person to think it is his everything, and even bigger for those who think they own it. Relax.

Every day is the worst new day for any lion because he wants to have everything that comes with that day. He even wants to eliminate flies, and when he is angry, he sheds some crocodile tears, and the flies will swarm his eyes to drink from his well of tears, and they end up eaten up. Imagine flies, how many flies will it take for a lion to feel like he has eaten something?  For the flies they are among the few insects that came into existence by mistake because they have a shorter lifespan.

They live for a week or two, and within these few weeks, they want to touch almost anything they come across.  Houseflies must make sure they sit on anything because they don’t have time. It is madness for a lion to think that those little insects are an existential threat to him. That is why he doesn’t enjoy all that God has given him, because he thinks that everyone is his enemy, including flies.

When God destroys the world, he will take the lion’s strength and change him to an antelope. The reverse.  He must go through everything, the sleepless nights and days of running from an enemy, because the lion himself will never appreciate what he has. He will continue to want more and more and more when it is more than what he has got, he will want more than what he has. Peace.
