President Salva Kiir has relieved Central Bank Governor Johnny Ohisa Damian, barely six months in the position.
In series of Decree read over the state-owned South Sudan Broadcasting Cooperation, Kiir also relieved first Deputy Governor Dr. Addis Ababa Othow.
Dr. Addis Ababa Othow has also been relieved from position of Chairperson of South Sudan Civil Aviation Authority Board of Directors.
However, Dr. Addis Ababa was reappointed as the Central Bank governor replacing Johnny Ohisa. Kiir also appointed Samuel Yanga Mikaya as first Deputy Governor.
Meanwhile, in the series of decrees, the General Manager of South Sudan Electricity Cooperation, Bek Awan Deng has also been shown exit, and is replaced by Eng. Joseph Yor Ajak.
Bek Awan Deng was appointed as Technical Advisor in the Ministry of Energy and Dams.
