I would like to inform the public that we members of Seventh-day Adventist Church have come to witnessed that we are taken out of context by different churches and community leaders who does not understand the doctrine of Seventh-day Adventist, what happened in Aker-Abuok residential of Gorial East county was a misunderstanding between Gen. Mathok Gengdit and our Church members, if Mathok wasn’t having an intentions of casting our church out of his constituency he would’ve not done this unlawful act against the church of God.
To many people who understood Seventh-day Adventist doctrine, they are now praising God with us, and nobody who have ever complain of such allegations that was filled by Gen. Mathok, as a Founder of Seventh-day Adventist Church in Northern Upper Nile State particularly Kilo Ashara, there is no any community member who have raised such allegations to my church and community who are benefiting here with us, enjoying changes brought in by Seventh-day Adventist administration.
The same doctrine I am following is the doctrine other Seventh-day churches have been following, no any Seventh-day doctrine is encouraging immorality or should other churches does I have been here working for three years and no any parents of the faithful have come and complain to us about such allegations termed by Gen. Mathok Gengdit himself, I would be very glad if Mathok burned down Hotels and Lodges where people have such practices at night.
Why is it possible to move against God than moving against our human missed, how many ladies who are there sleeping in hotels and lodges and we turned a deaf ear and blind eye to darkness of evildoers and perished the church of God.
As Founder of Seventh-day Adventist in Kilo Ashara, I appeal to Gen. Gengdit to slow down his anger and sort out every misunderstanding with us in a peaceful mean than taking such a ridiculous action against our Church’s doctrine, the only thing which brought this misunderstanding was a trading accusations against SDA and we are not going to sue you for what you’ve done may God have mercy on you, and to our members in Aker-Abuok take courage it’s not him who did it, we know the Satan is enemy of progress, the Bible is telling us in the book of 2 Corinthians 10: 3-5 “We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.
