Catholic Archdiocese of Juba has lost two apostolic priests in a pace of a week, after short illnesses.
Fr. Celestino Muras passed on, May 10, 2023, meanwhile few days later, on May 13, Fr. Louis Loliha, also passed on, due to unknown sickness in Nairobi.
The body of late Celestino Muras was taken to Torit for burial after a requiem mass at St. Theresa’s Cathedral.
Meanwhile, the body of late Fr. Louis Loliha arrives Juba on Wednesday will also be taken to Torit after holding 3: 00Pm requiem mass at St. Theresa Cathedral.
Archbishop of Catholic Archdiocese of Juba, Stephen Ameyu Martin Mulla remarked that the Church had painfully lost two priests within a short period.
Archbishop Ameyu, during the requiem mass of Fr. Celestino at St. Theresa Cathedral on Tuesday, consoled priests to take courage upon the demise in a month, of their two brothers.
