For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the spirit do mind the things of the spirit.
To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can it be. So those who are in the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8:5-8
In Christianity, there are things you need to consider in order to keep your privileged fellowship with the Father of Light intact. One of the sensitive parts of your Christianity you need to avoid is the carnal mindset. It’s an area where many children of God are still hooked and snared by the enemy, who is the devil.
In our opening scripture, it says that those who are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh, and those who are after the spirit do mind the things of the spirit. It takes this consciousness to make great exploits for God in your world. We live in a world where many are living the flesh; no wonder that’s why the devil is doing so much havoc than good in our lives. Living in the flesh is life-threatening. God wants you to live in the spirit in order to enjoy life and peace that surpasses all understanding.
Those who live in the flesh live in pleasures at the same time, yet the Bible says those who live in pleasures are dead while alive. This is so sensitive, my brother and brother. Why are you not different from the people who are not? because you will be ruled by the devil at the same time, just like those who are his children.
Therefore, it’s vital that you embrace the place of the spirit and walk in the spirit diligently so that you maximize the peace and life he (Jesus) came to give you.
The second portion of the scripture says a carnal mind is death; a fleshly mind is destined for death. That’s why many, including the very elect of God, became victims of death at an early age; premature death now is becoming something else. It’s so prevalent among us Christians, and this doesn’t exclude pastors, prophets, evangelists, apostles, or any other office that the spirit of God has entrusted to the hands of Christians to perfect the saints.
The carnal mind has no respect for any title given to you as a Christian. You must embrace the place of spiritual thinking in order to maximally enjoy life’s abundance.
Enmity against God is sponsored by or attracted by a carnal mindset.
God can’t stay or find joy in a man who is fleshly-minded; no wonder that’s why he says, Have no confidence in the flesh. God can’t have confidence in you fully; a carnal mindset rolls away the confidence of God in your faith in him and all the affairs of life. Why does God automatically consider you an enemy if you are carnally minded, why? The flesh acts contrary to the will of God, which immediately celebrates the very nature of the devil.
The third portion of the above scripture finally says that those who are in the flesh cannot please God the Father. God the Father can never trust you over the affairs of the kingdom until you get rid of the fleshly mindset. Therefore, live a life full of God, life, life and peace by letting your spirit rule the flesh, and by doing so, you will make extraordinary exploits for God and his precious kingdom. Pleasing God is always the ultimate goal in the life of every Christian who wants to make heaven.
Prophetic Confessions
Lord, I refuse to cause enmity between me and you today by adhering to a spiritual mind continuously. I decree and declare that my life shall fulfil your heart desires. Help me to stay hooked on you for all eternity in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
Prayer of salvation
I trust and believe in you today, Lord. You are my righteousness, and my life is complete in you. I am born again; write my name in the book of life in Jesus mighty name, Amen!
