I thought being a politician
Means stealing the money of the country!
That was the reason why I appreciated my uncle
Who stole the country’s money?
Please, I repent. I was just very ignorant about politics.
I knew not of politics!
I didn’t know being a politician is not to bring war to the country.
I support the wars of 2013 and 2016 in my country.
People think I didn’t participate in them.
But I am testifying that I did.
I didn’t take a gun of course,
But words are more hurtful than bullets!
I joined some wrong groups who were fuelling the war with their words.
I just discovered that I wasn’t a politician.

I thought being a politician
Is having a party and speak against other parties.
I chose a party and I could oppose anything from the other parties.
I thought also that being a politician
Means supporting your tribe men
Even when they are very wrong
I just testify that I was ignorant.
I knew not of politics!
I thought being a politician is being against the president.
I could speak any bad thing against the president.
I could just be in any group that discussed only the death of the president.
Our main topic was the sickness of the president.
I couldn’t completely appreciate anything about the president.
I just need to repent that I didn’t understand politics.

I thought being a politician is having an opportunity
To corrupt the resources of the country
I know very many people who didn’t understand politics like me.
They steal and take the country’s money for their private use.
They think that the oil money belongs to them.
I pray they also repent like me.
I knew not of politics!
I could tell all lies about other people.
With my group, we could take the whole day,
Just talking ill of others
I could create all lies about the nation.
Someone can remember that people fought in 2013,
Just because of useless talks of some people
Who didn’t understand politics like me!
I repent I won’t do it again.
There are so many people who need to understand politics like me!
I request the people concerned should give us workshops
So that we understand politics and move safely to the election.
