By Kei Emmanuel Duku

Jamus Football Club has bolstered its squad with the arrival of four new signings in Rwanda, where the team is currently holding a pre-season camp.

Rendento Lokira and Michael Marko joined the camp alongside teammates Skender Samuel from Sudan and Alvin Maccornel from Liberia in Kigali on Thursday. However, Lokira and Marko missed the first week of training due to examinations.

The club is awaiting clearance for left-back Kerbino Kuei, whose transfer documents are under review.

Meanwhile, South Sudan national team goalkeeper Majak Maling Mawith has joined the team after his contract with Australian club Port Melbourne SC expired. Other players, including Sudanese goalkeeper Sharaf Eldine and midfielder Simon Kotou, who have missed some training sessions due to malaria are also set to resume training ahead of their first participation CAF Confederation Cup.

Jamus FC is set to face Stade Tunisien FC of Tunisia on August 16 in the CAF Confederations Cup qualifiers.
