Rokon Episcopal Diocese receives a car

By Gladys Fred Kole

Central Equatoria State Governor, Emmanuel Adil Anthony has offered a Toyota Harrier as a donation to the Episcopal Diocese of Rokon.

The purpose behind this act of goodwill is to support and facilitate the diocesan headquarters’ pastoral engagements, led by Rt. Rev. Emmanuel Lomoro Eluzai.

The car donation comes as a fulfilment of Governor Adil’s promise made during the New Year and anniversary celebrations of Rokon Diocese.

The handover ceremony took place at the State Government General Secretariat, where Hon. Viana Kakuli Aggrey, the State Minister of Finance, Planning, and Investment, presided over the event.

Minister Aggrey also expressed the state government’s commitment to collaborate closely with religious leaders in serving the people across the state.

The car was officially received by Simon Muzee, the community representative and Deputy Commissioner General of the State Insurance and Regulatory Authority, alongside other officials.

In October 2023, the state government also dispatched Land Cruiser vehicles to support various state activities.

The event was attended by Satimon Lupai Andrew, the State Minister for Cabinet Affairs, and Taban Clement Oliver, the Acting Secretary General of the Revitalized Transitional Government of Central Equatoria State, along with other key government officials.
