Jadalla forms committees to investigate loopholes

Central Equatoria State Governor Augustino Jadalla Wani Kamilo has formed committees to investigate and address irregularities within state institutions.

In Gubernatorial Order No. 01/2024, Governor Jadalla formed a State Committee to scrutinize the financial records, approved budgets, revenue collections, and investments across various state departments.

The 11-member committee is chaired by Simon Kimang Lado, with Stephen Lado Onesimo as the deputy. Other members include John Ijino Laku as secretary, Advocate Wani Santino Jada as legal consultant, and Micheal Amule Joseph as technical advisor.

The committee also includes representatives from the Anti-Corruption Commission, National Security Service, and Criminal Investigation Department.

In a separate Gubernatorial Order No. 02/2024, the Governor formed another committee to assess the disposal of government assets, lands, and properties.

This 11-member committee is led by Eng. Stephen Juma Luga as the chairperson, with Clement Maring Samuel and Peter Duku Wani as the deputy and secretary, respectively.

The committee also includes Eng. Silva Clark as the technical advisor, Advocate Ajo Noel as the legal consultant, and representatives from the Anti-Corruption Commission, National Security Service, and Criminal Investigation Department.

Furthermore, in Gubernatorial Order No. 03/2024, Jadalla established a committee to review the administration’s human resource operational appraisal policy.

This committee is chaired by Johnson Swaka Ngisak, with Muki Batali Buli as the assistant and Moses Idoru Nyema as the secretary.

The committee also includes Dr. Geri Raimando Legge as the legal consultant, Emmanuel Taban Seme as the technical advisor, and representatives from the Anti-Corruption Commission, National Security Service, and Criminal Investigation Department.

These gubernatorial orders came into effect on Thursday, May 23, 2024, as the Governor aims to address any irregularities and strengthen the institutional integrity of the state’s governance.
